Success of DVI ”Eat Up Downtown“ Event Leads to Pre-Fix at Plaza III

Jacksonville, FL (October 29, 2007) – As one of several restaurants that took part in Downtown Vision’s ”Eat Up Downtown“ event in September, Plaza III, The Steakhouse had an overwhelming response to the pre-fixed meal pricing for the one week event.

As the restaurant began to update its menu items, it decided to make ”Prix Fixe“ a part of its new menu being introduced on Monday, November 5.

”We kept our most popular items, our Filet Mignon, Kansas City Strip Steak, other steak, lamb and seafood dishes, while adding four all-inclusive Pre Fixe entrees,“ said Chef Mike Silverman.   ”We also added a modification area to our menu so our guests can create an entrée the way they would like it to be.  In addition, we have lowered many of our prices without affecting portion sizes to increase the value of our product to our customers.“

The Prix Fixe Menu includes a choice of salad or soup, entrée and dessert for $35.  Entrée choices include a Filet Mignon Filet, Prime Rib, Grilled Chicken Florentine, and Cajun Seared Tuna.
