Clary & Associates Joins Building Drive for Non-Profit Pine Castle

Jacksonville, FL (March 5, 2007) Clary & Associates, Inc., a Jacksonville-based surveying and mapping firm, is taking an active role in assisting local non-profit agency Pine Castle with its expansion campaign.

After meeting with Pine Castle officials about plans to build a new Life Enrichment Center to provide life enhancing programs and services for adults with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and traumatic brain injuries, company president Greg Clary decided to throw in his firm’s support – and encourage others in the land development, engineering and transportation industries to do the same.

"Over the next several months, we will be inviting our friends and business associates to a series of luncheons to hear about Pine Castle and their important role in our community" Clary said. "At the same time, our company will participate in fundraising – including a silent auction and employee involvement programs."

Pine Castle manufactures the stakes Clary & Associates uses as employees survey properties in growing northeast Florida. According to Pine Castle Executive Director Jon May, it is the growth of the area combined with the increase in the number of people with critical needs that makes the success of the campaign so important.

"We are very excited to have Clary & Associates step up as a champion for this crucial community project that will benefit persons with disabilities, and their families, who are waiting for opportunities to learn, work and become more independent," May said.

The planned Life Enrichment Center will allow the non-profit to provide for current and future needs of aging and severely disabled adults and will include improvements such as wheel-chair accessible bathrooms and shower facilities, a nurse’s clinic and additional therapeutic services. The center will also provide space for indoor fitness, special events and allow Pine Castle to enhance facilities for FCCJ Adult Education classes.

Pine Castle is a local, community-supported non-profit organization that provides services to more than 400 adults each year and is one of the largest employers of people with disabilities in Jacksonville.
