Schurr Joins North Florida Marketing Association

Jacksonville, FL (June 14, 2007) Shari Schurr, Marketing Director for Jacksonville-based survey and mapping firm Clary & Associates, Inc., has been accepted into the North Florida Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).  

Schurr has been with Clary since 1999, first serving as Communications Director and then promoted to Marketing Director for the growing firm. Previous to joining Clary, she worked at Goodrich Aerospace, Engineered Polymer Products for 10 years. Shari graduated from Jacksonville University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

The Society for Marketing Professional Services was formed in 1973 by a small group of leaders from services firms who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources and work together to create business opportunities.  The North Florida Chapter was formed in 1989 and currently has about 50 members. 

The national association has a membership of more than 5,000 business professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada.
