Clary & Associates Donates Gifts for Holiday Party at Pine Castle

Jacksonville, FL (December 15, 2006) — Employees from Clary & Associates, a Jacksonville-based survey firm, were among several local companies that donated gifts for disabled adults during a holiday party held at Pine Castle today.

Pine Castle was founded more than 50 years ago and provides services to more than 400 adults each year and is one of the largest employers of people with disabilities in Jacksonville.

Clary & Associates Marketing Director Shari Shurr, who was on hand to hand out gifts to the adults, says the company has been supporting Pine Castle for about 15 years. In addition to providing gifts for the holidays, her company purchases survey stakes produced by Pine Castle throughout the year.

"We appreciate the support of companies like Clary & Associates and others who help us provide needed services to the business community and, at the same time, empowering our adults and making them more independent by giving them an opportunity to work," said Pine Castle Executive Director Jonathan May.

Pine Castle began as a school in 1952 to provide special education to children with developmental disabilities – founded by concerned parents who wanted their children to have the best possible education and opportunities in life.
